DAN JENKINSON LTD

A gold trading room run out of the UK. Breakdowns before the open, live calls through the session, and a trader who answers his own messages.

Trading carries risk to your capital.

DAN JENKINSON LTD

Gold · Intraday · United Kingdom

Breakdowns, calls,and straight answers.

Everything below: what the room is, who runs it, what the channel has posted, and what members make of it.

Welcome

Dan Jenkinson LTD is a community for people trading gold intraday — or trying to. Dan runs it from the UK, and trades the same sessions he talks about.

There's no shortage of people selling trading online, and most of it is noise. What we've built is smaller and plainer than that: a channel where the day gets marked up before the open, calls where you can ask why something was taken, and someone you can actually reach when you're stuck on something.

Nobody here will tell you what it'll make you. Trading is a skill, it takes years, and most people who start it stop. What we can do is shorten the part where you're guessing on your own.

What's inside

Before the open

The day, marked up.

Levels, bias and what we're watching on gold, posted to the Telegram channel most mornings.

Midweek

Live calls.

Screens shared, questions taken as they come. Recorded if you can't make it.

All day

The channel.

Ask something and Dan will pick it up. Losing days get posted as well as good ones.

If you want it

One to one.

Sessions on your own charts and your own habits, with Dan.

Getting set up

Account and platform.

We'll walk you through opening an account with the broker we work with and getting your platform usable.

Who it's for

Mostly people a year or two in who can't get consistent — they know the setups, they just keep breaking their own rules. Beginners are welcome, but come expecting to learn a skill rather than buy one.

It's not for anyone looking to be told exactly what to click. If you want signals with no explanation and no questions asked, there are plenty of places selling them — this isn't one.

How it works

What actually happens, in order, from the moment you join. Nothing to pay to get started and no clock on any of it.

  1. 1

    Join the free Telegram channel

One tap, nothing to pay, nothing to fill in. You can sit and read for as long as you like before you speak to anybody.

    Open the channel →
  2. 2

Get the day marked up before the open

Levels, bias and what we're watching on gold, posted most mornings before London. The reasoning comes with it, so you can disagree with it.

  3. 3

    Come to the live calls

Midweek, screens shared, questions taken as they come. Recorded if you can't make it, so missing one costs you nothing.

  4. 4

Go one to one, if you want to

Sessions on your own charts and your own habits, with Dan. Entirely optional — plenty of people never do this.

Before you go any further. Trading carries risk to your capital and you can lose money. Nothing shared by any of us is financial advice, and none of it accounts for your circumstances. We're introducing brokers, which means we may be paid by the broker if you open an account through us — worth knowing, and worth asking about.

Reports

The session summaries as they go out.

What that looks like in money

The same figures at three position sizes, in pounds. A standard lot of gold moves about £7.90 a pip at the rate shown underneath, so the arithmetic is pips multiplied by size.

0.01 lot—
0.10 lot—
1.00 lot—

On leverage

1:500 changes what you can open, not what you make.

Leverage sets the margin a position ties up. At 1:500 a 1.00 lot of gold needs roughly £700 of margin rather than £348,000 — but the profit on 100 pips is £790 either way. Higher leverage lets you take a bigger position on a smaller balance, which cuts both ways: the same move against you is the same size loss.

Read it properly

These are illustrations, not results.

Nobody traded every one of these at a fixed size. The figures assume one position size held across every trade posted, no spread, no commission, no swap, no missed entries and no partial closes. Real accounts do not work like that.

How to read this

Pips

Movement, not money.

A pip is a unit of price movement. What it is worth in pounds depends entirely on your position size, so the same 40 pips means something different to every person reading it.

Win rate

How often, not how much.

A high win rate with small gains and large losses is worse than a low one with the reverse. Read it alongside the pip figure, never on its own.

The honest bit

This is the past.

These are results already posted. They are not a forecast, not a promise, and not an indication of what the next month looks like. Trading carries risk and you can lose money.

Reviews

What members say about the room. Every review is read before it goes up.

Leave one

Honest is more useful than glowing. If something could be better, say so.

Reviews are opinions, not results. What worked for one person is not a forecast for anyone else. Trading carries risk and you can lose money.

Clips

What we've been putting out, newest first. Some of it is on TikTok and Instagram; some of it is only here.

Clips are not results. A good day on camera is still one day. Trading carries risk to your capital and you can lose money, and nothing shared by any of us is financial advice.

Questions

The ones people actually ask before they join, answered straight. If yours isn't here, message Dan on the contact page.

Is it free?

Yes — all of it. Not a free tier with a paid one behind it: there is no subscription, no course, no signal package and no one-to-one fee. The channel, the morning mark-ups, the results, the live calls and the one-to-one sessions all cost you nothing, and none of us takes a cut of what you make. The way it is paid for is the next question.

What's the catch?

The way in is through our broker link. That is the catch, and it is the whole of it: you open your trading account through us, and the broker pays us — you do not. Nothing comes out of your profits and there is nothing for you to buy, which is why everything above is free rather than free-for-now.

You are not obliged to use the link. Open an account anywhere you like and you are welcome in the channel either way; it is just that the link is what keeps the lights on, so it is how access to the rest of it works.

Do I need experience?

No, but come expecting to learn a skill rather than buy one. Most of the room is a year or two in and stuck on consistency — they know the setups and keep breaking their own rules. If you have never opened a chart you are still welcome; you will just be starting further back, and we will say so rather than pretend otherwise.

What does “introducing broker” mean for me?

It means we introduce people to a broker we work with, and the broker pays us for it — by the lot, and only on trades that close in profit. If a trade of yours loses, we are paid nothing for it. It costs you no more than going to the broker direct, it does not come out of your profits, we never hold your money and we cannot trade your account: your money sits with the broker and you place your own trades.

Two things worth knowing all the same. We are better off if you open an account, so weigh what we say about that broker with that in mind and ask us about it straight. And being paid by the lot means we are better off if you trade more of them — which is exactly the wrong reason to take a trade, so if you ever think we are pushing volume at you, say so.

Can I lose money?

Yes. Trading carries risk to your capital and you can lose money — including more than you expected to, faster than you expected to. Most people who start trading stop. The results on this site are posted trades counted automatically, losing days included, and they are not a guide to what you would make. Nothing any of us shares is financial advice and none of it accounts for your circumstances.

How much time does this take?

The morning mark-up takes a couple of minutes to read. Gold's session is busiest through the London and New York open, so most people who trade it actively give it two or three hours. The live calls are midweek and recorded, so missing one costs you nothing. You can get something out of the channel on ten minutes a day; you will not learn to trade on ten minutes a day.

What happens after I join?

Nothing you have to respond to. You will see the day marked up before the open and the results as they go out. When you are ready, tell Dan what you trade and what isn't working — that is the whole qualification process. There is no onboarding sequence and nobody will chase you.

Reviews waiting

Nothing goes on the site until you put it there.

The results board

Counted from the signal rooms as the relay sees them, and from anything you forward into your own channel. Clearing cannot be undone.

Walks every message the site has stored and works the trades out again from scratch. For the days those messages still cover, what it works out replaces what is on the board, so a trade counted wrongly at the time is put right. Anything older than the oldest message it holds is left exactly as it is. Go back over today is different: it asks Telegram itself for the last day of messages from each room, for the hours before the site was watching. Both leave the channel alone — neither posts anything to it. The other two do not: Post today’s results sends out anything from the day the channel has not had yet, and Redo the last 24 hours in the channel takes down the bot’s posts from the last day and sends those trades back as cards. Older posts are left where they are, and neither button touches the results board. Both keep going on their own until there is nothing left — one press, then leave the page open while it works. Both notify everybody.

The numbers at the top of the welcome page

How many are in the channel is asked of Telegram itself, and the review score comes from the reviews. These two nobody but you knows. Leave either blank and it simply will not appear — better an empty space than a number nobody can stand behind.

The clips themselves live on the Clips page now — films and links both go up from there, and any of the team can add to it.

What the site is seeing

Results are read from the rooms and shown on this site only — nothing is posted to Telegram. This shows whether the reading is working.

Reading the rooms without your machine

Telegram will not let a bot read somebody else’s channel — a bot only ever sees a chat it has been added to, and those rooms are not yours to add it to. So the site signs in as you and reads them the way your own phone does. All of it happens here, on whatever you are holding. Once it is done, nothing needs to be running at home.

Being signed in here is as good as being signed in on a phone. It is kept in the site’s own storage and never shown back to this page or to anybody. If you ever want it gone, press Disconnect Telegram, or open Telegram → Settings → Devices and end the one called Dan Jenkinson LTD. Switch your old relay off once the signals are arriving here.

Adding someone

One

Invite them in Netlify.

Netlify dashboard → your site → Identity → Invite users. They get an email and set their own password.

Two

Give them an area of the site.

Same screen, under Roles, add exactly one of: ib (the plan, outreach and quotes — team only) or client (the signal feed only). Without one of these two, they'll be signed in but stuck on a "waiting for access" screen — they will not default into the IB portal.

Three, for a team member

Tell the site who they are.

In user_metadata add person set to dan. That links their login to their photo and contact details. Clients don't need this.

Four, if needed

Give them this tab.

Under Roles, also add admin. Leave it off for anyone who shouldn't manage accounts. An admin role always opens the IB portal, whatever else is set.

Removing someone

Delete them in Netlify.

Identity → their name → Delete user. They lose access immediately.

Set registration to invite only. Netlify → Identity → Registration preferences. Otherwise anyone who finds the site can create themselves an account and walk into the portal.

Your profile

The picture that shows next to your name on the team page. Pick one, then drag and zoom until it sits right in the circle.

—

Keep them consistent. Even light, one subject, nothing cluttered behind you. A photo shot like that makes the team page look like a business.

Your details

Experience shows on the team page; the rest shows on the contact page next to your name. Leave anything blank and it simply won't appear. Saved to your account, so it sticks.

Your password

What goes out, and when

Five filming days, one batch session, one day off. If you only ever hit the daily loop, the plan is working.

1short video a day, Mon–Fri
4stories a day, every day
20DMs a day, each
1long piece a week

That's it. 5 videos, 28 stories, and 100 conversations a week. Everything below is just how you hit those four numbers without thinking about it.

The daily loop

Roughly 75 minutes of work, split either side of the session so it never competes with your screens.

Pre-market

Story 1 — the desk shot.

Charts up, levels marked, one line on where you want gold to trade. Takes 40 seconds and it's the story that gets replied to most.

After the session

Story 2 — the result, win or lose.

Post the losers too. The account that only posts green is the account nobody believes.

Midday

The video goes live.

Pulled from Sunday's batch. Same clip to TikTok, Reels and Shorts. Caption written once, pasted three times.

Afternoon

20 DMs, 30 minutes.

Worked in warm-to-cold order — see the outreach tab. Timer on, stop when it goes off.

Evening

Stories 3 and 4 — the life bit.

Gym, food, the car, a book, whatever the day actually held. This is the half people follow you for.

The week

Sunday is the engine. Two hours filming means the other six days are just uploading.

Short video Stories Live call / batch film
Sunday

Batch film — 2 hours, one outfit change.

Five videos, five hooks, done. Write the five hooks on Saturday night so you're not thinking on camera.

Wednesday

The long piece — live call or a recorded breakdown.

Goes out live to the Telegram, then the recording gets chopped into next week's clips. One shoot, two jobs.

Saturday

Stories only. No video, no DMs.

Protect this or the whole thing falls over in six weeks.

What the videos are about

Roughly two in five aren't about trading at all. That's deliberate — the lifestyle content is what makes a stranger stop, the trading content is what makes them stay.

Teaching40%

One idea per video. Liquidity, structure, risk per trade, why you sat out. Two a week.

Life outside the charts25%

Gym, the car, travel, wherever the day takes you. Film it where you are — the backdrop is half of what makes people stop.

Straight talk20%

The honest ones. Losing runs, the year it didn't work, what you'd tell yourself at the start.

The channel15%

A member's question answered, clips off a live call, what the channel's been talking about. One a week.

Who runs what

One person runs the lot: the daily loop, the clients, the calls and the channel.

Every week

The same week.

Own account, own stories, own outreach, own clients — bringing in people who wouldn't have found Dan Jenkinson LTD otherwise.

The daily video

Batched.

Filmed on Sunday and posted through the week, so it's one shoot rather than five.

Midweek

Calls and the channel.

Live calls and running the Telegram day to day.

Sunday

Thirty minutes.

Three numbers — conversations had, people into the channel, clients signed. Then the week's filming gets done.

Before anything goes out. As an IB you're inside UK financial promotion rules, so keep every post free of profit claims, past-return screenshots and anything that reads as a guarantee. Risk warning on any post that mentions trading with money, disclose the broker relationship where you're pointing people at a broker, and no testimonials you didn't actually receive. Teaching, routine and honest talk all sit safely on the right side of it — get anything with a number in it checked by a compliance consultant first. Same wording for all three of you, DMs included — and check with your broker how everyone signing their own clients sits under the agreement.

20 a day, warmest first

Twenty a day, worked warmest first, off your own account. Everyone here has already touched your content — you're not cold-DMing strangers, you're finishing conversations they started.

Commented or saved5

Anyone who typed something under a video or saved it. Reply to the comment first, DM second.

Opener: react to what they actually said. "Fair point on the London open — do you trade it or just watch it?"

Liked a video5

Work the likes on your last two posts. Skip anyone with a shop or an agency in the bio.

Opener: tie it to the clip. "Saw you liked the one on risk per trade — what are you running at the minute?"

New followers and follow-backs4

Same day they follow, while you're still fresh. One line, no pitch.

Opener: "Appreciate the follow — you trading gold?" Nothing more until they answer.

Story viewers and profile viewers4

Repeat viewers only — the ones who've watched three or four days running. Post a poll or a question sticker and DM whoever answers.

Opener: reply to their answer directly. The sticker did the introduction for you.

Cold, from the tags2

Two a day, no more. People posting their own charts under ICT and SMC tags — genuine feedback on what they posted, nothing about Dan Jenkinson LTD.

Opener: comment on their chart like a trader, not a salesman. If they ask what you do, then you tell them.

How the conversation runs

One

Ask, don't tell.

First two messages are questions. What they trade, how long, what's not working.

Two

Give something free.

A straight answer to their problem, no strings. Most people have never had one.

Three

Offer the room, once.

Free Telegram first, always. Mention it once and let it sit — no follow-up pitch.

Four

Let it go if it's quiet.

No second nudge. Chasing costs more followers than it converts.

Today

Tick it off as you go. Resets when you reload the page.

Lines to use

Twenty lines a week, pulled from the full set and reshuffled every Monday. All mindset — none of them claim a result, so they stay clean under promotion rules.

They laugh now. They won't be laughing in five years.

One to avoid. Anything shaped like "I turned £500 into £5,000" or "our members are up X%" is a returns claim, and it's the fastest way to a problem with the regulator. Keep the lines about effort and habit, never about money.

The team

Trading the same markets he talks about. Whoever you speak to is who you'll work with.

Where to find us. Everything runs through the Telegram channel — breakdowns before the open, the calls, and the questions. Trading carries risk to your capital and nothing shared is financial advice.
